The TECHEETAH Formula E Team and PerkinElmer, Inc. today announce a new partnership for the 2016/17 FIA Formula E season onwards. Becoming the Scientific Partner, PerkinElmer will be providing the TECHEETAH Formula E Team with their innovative detection , informatics and service capabilities to support performance characterization of race car components.
With over 9,000 employees operating in over 150 countries around the world, PerkinElmer’s world-class R&D facilities and experience are a perfect match for the ever increasing technical complexity in Formula E.
Competing in the cutting-edge fully-electric racing series, TECHEETAH Formula-E team are learning and improving electric power train on a race-by race basis. Such a rapid progress requires a vast amount of data analysis and visualization. PerkinElmer’s expertise can significantly strengthen the team’s engineering capabilities. All of these efforts are directly linked with improving the future electric road cars, which aligns with PerkinElmer’s mission of innovating for a healthier world.
